Ok - a stock cam in one piece arrived (hurrah), so we set about fitting it to the racecar. At the moment, we haven’t taken the step of removing the head to replace the springs - because we’ll need to change the head gasket, get new head bolts etc etc - so this is just how to change the cam (with pictures).

Gah. Don’t you *hate* it when you have a plan sorted out for the weekend, which then all falls over at the first opportunity.
In our case, this was getting the new mandatory cam, and the new springs installed into the Fiat engine in the race car. Should have been a mornings work, alas, Anna finally gets the cam delivered on Saturday morning.. to find it in pieces in the box.
