The Internet Dictionary, as written by the TDQ
Sometimes, one of IMOCs more prolific and outspoken members uses a semi-cryptic language for getting her point across. After several months studying this proto-language, I’ve developed the following list :
- IRTA
- I Read That As. As in “IRTA : It’s all about you..”
- MMC
- small snigger
- GLOL
- You amuse me so
- ROFFLLAB
- You amuse me more that GLOL
- JFDI
- Just get on with it
- GRF
- You may now leave my presence
- DING
- I am glad to see you agree with me
- DAFL
- You make a good point, I agree with you wholeheartedly
- Bearding
- The process of ‘fixing’ something. Usually involving ‘nails’
- Nail
- A vehicle modified or designed for a very narrow purpose. Such ‘nails’ are generally un-suitable for general road use, either because they are impractical, or because they are uncomfortable. Also applies to unreliable cars. See Caterham, Westfield etc
- TAAN
- They Are All Nails - All of them, without exception. Sooner or later they will show their true colours
- TADTS
- They All Do That Sir
Shouldn’t JDFI be JFDI?
Ahem..
